DEEP SLEEP: VR is a dialogue-driven, choose-your-own-adventure experience in virtual reality. It invites you to explore a provocative thought experiment: what if solving the problems of today means waiting for a future where they might be resolved?

• Two post-crisis futures: After a period of environmental collapse on Earth, you face the choice to return and rebuild or start anew on a distant planet. The decision hinges on whether you stay or go, waiting millennia for a habitable tomorrow.

In the game, you inhabit your future self and navigate the Deep Sleep Protocol—a process that shapes your chosen future before entering decades, centuries, or even millennia of hibernation.

• Gameplay length: Approximately 20–40 minutes of immersive, narrative-driven interaction.
• Dialogue-centric: Your conversations steer the outcomes, guiding you toward an ending that matches your vision.
• Multiple Endings: Each path concludes with consequences tied to your dialogue decisions and the future you elect to wait for.
• Immersive presentation: The protocol generates a personalized short film that reflects the choices you’ve made and outlines the future you’ve chosen to wait for.

Production: DEEP SLEEP is the debut project from Proxima Projects, a solo development by a new media artist, created with collaboration and support from other visual and performance artists. The experience emphasizes atmosphere, voice acting, and a reflective, contemplative pace.
