Bookmark Hero is a high-fantasy peripheral-idle RPG built around the idea of a tiny, persistent companion that lives in Gamdor, a vast world of magic and danger. You play from a bookmark-sized window that docks to the side of your screen, letting you steer by queuing tasks instead of micromanaging every move. As you work, your hero explores diverse lands, battles goblins and ancient beasts, hones combat and crafting skills, forges gear and weapons, and embarks on quests that shape their legend. The adventure continues even when your attention is elsewhere, so your day stays productive while you witness epic moments unfold in the margins.

Design emphasizes screen real estate: you can position the window on the left or right and it works neatly with multiple monitors. The queued interaction is intentionally minimal: you draft a sequence of tasks, set repeats if you like, and let the world progress at a steady rhythm. As your hero mills wood, mines ore, or sweeps a dungeon, you can switch to your other tasks—work, browsing, chatting, or playing other games—without losing progress or immersion. The game keeps you in control while staying unobtrusive.

Gathering covers wood chopping, mining, skinning, foraging, and resource management. Crafting spans blacksmithing, leatherwork, tailoring, alchemy, and gear augmentations. Survival adds fishing, cooking, firemaking, shelter building, and camp skills that keep you alive in the wild. Each category unlocks new actions, better tools, and stronger bonuses tied to your equipment.

Gear is more than looks: armor, weapons, and accessories confer bonuses that directly influence your hero’s strengths and playstyle.
