A Date with Death 2: REMNANTS

Congratulations, you’re dead! In the Underworld, Grim Reapers keep the mortal world turning by ferrying souls to their rightful afterlives. But after rebellion tore through its streets, the old order is broken. Reapers are on the verge of extinction, numbers dwindling, and unclaimed souls slipping through the cracks. You are one of the few newly-created Reapers — a blank slate with no past, no name — assigned to Unit 29R alongside a fellow recruit and your team leader. On paper you’re meant to follow the rules, learn quickly, and guide the souls of those who have passed on. Your true mission is to recover what has been lost, and to decide who you will become when you can remember nothing at all.

REMNANTS is the sequel to the hit chat simulator A Date with Death. Play as Grim Reaper 0213 during a tense two-week period after the revolution, building bonds with your teammates — 5012, your trainer, and 0204, your fellow trainee — while you learn the lay of the Underworld. Create your own custom protagonist, from appearance to pronouns, and wander your base, meeting other Grim Reapers, gossiping in the hallways, and even flirting your way toward both good and bad endings. Every choice you make nudges you toward a different fate, so your path can shift with the relationships you nurture.

Two romance routes await, each with multiple endings. The game is designed for replayability: try different looks, different pronouns, different decisions, and see how the story unfolds. Expect beautiful, original art and an in-game gallery to fill with CGs, backgrounds, and sketches from your journey.

At its core, A Date with Death 2: REMNANTS asks big questions about identity and memory. If you forget who you were, are you still the same person? If memories shape you, what does that make you now? As you grow closer to your teammates and uncover the secrets of the fallen, you’ll confront what it means to become someone new while holding on to echoes of the past.
