Grand Pro Circuit description

Grand Pro Circuit

Step into Grand Pro Circuit, a fictional vintage championship experience inspired by the roar of 1980s open‑wheel racing. Feel the atmosphere of the era, from hero‑to‑hero battles to the pulse of early motorsport technology. Join famous teams such as MacLoud, Tyrol, Kokus, Baron, Renato, Wilhelms or Enzoni and race against legendary drivers across a nostalgic grid. The game blends authentic broadcast vibes, vintage car sounds and period liveries to immerse you in history.

Realism you can feel: a custom high‑fidelity vehicle dynamics model powered by authentic physics. The game features advanced aerodynamics with location and altitude‑based atmospheric effects, detailed tire surface modeling with wear, dirt and temperature changes, and precise wheel‑to‑wheel contacts. Five tire compounds offer distinct grip, heat, and wear profiles across the race. A full telemetry suite lets you compare setups across events with graphical feedback.

Dynamic weather and track conditions: sun, shadows, and temperature shift with geo‑location and race time; wet and dry transitions, moving rain clouds, and drying of the racing line after rain. Track grip varies between rubbered and dirty areas; rain and spray influence visibility and performance; erosion and heat effects can threaten components.

Career and competition: a 10 season championship mode spanning 1980 to 1989, 12 teams with unique car models and liveries, and 20 circuits based on vintage layouts. Race a single weekend, a full championship, or jump in for instant action. Collect up to 130 unique trophies as you climb the standings.

On the track: realistic race starts with risk of jump starts; immersive pit stops with force feedback and cooperative pit crews; pit monitor during qualifying and testing; fuel, wing repairs, and double‑stack support. Interactive race engineering unlocks setup options, telemetry graphs, and data comparison to optimize performance.

Damage, failures and strategy: mechanical failures, punctures, loose wheels, leaks, and overheating add tension. A wide range of driving assists and optional physics features help tailoring the challenge. Driver customization includes helmet presets, names, numbers, and liveries reflected on the car.

Accessibility and presentation: 100% fictional teams, drivers and sponsors to preserve the vintage vibe; retro visuals with low‑poly graphics and 8‑bit style filters. Keyboard, Xbox controller, and force feedback wheel support, with clutch pedal and H‑pattern shifter. Stats, setups and results can be printed to a binder for offline review. Every race becomes a small drama of risk and mastery.
