Story Mode

You guard a critical infrastructure. The system scans for human assets, and a connection with AI Chip is established. You are the silent guardian whose uptime influences the fate of entire factions. While you cool the CPU, every decision echoes through the network.

Interface & Visuals

Engage with a TASK MANAGER inspired by classic Windows 95/98 aesthetics. Visual bars are loaded, revealing Temperature, RAM, and CPU stress. It looks simple, but the RED ZONE demands focus and discipline.

Core Mechanics

• Thermal Status: Roof temperature at 98°C. Push the hardware, overclock, and complete contracts for DataDyne and Ghost.
• Meltdown Risk: If the clock climbs to 100°C, components melt, triggering a BSOD and permanent damage.
• Security Breach: The web is infected. Defend against Ransomware, Worms, and Miners. A missed virus multiplies, devours RAM, and corrupts the system.

Controls & Safety

When in danger, hit the Emergency Kill Switch (F12) to wipe the board. It comes at a price, demanding tough choices and potential losses, but it may save the core system in the end.

Upgrades & Modes

System Upgrade Required: Insert credits, install Liquid Cooling, and add SDRAM Modules to strengthen defenses. In Infinite Mode, harness 50+ Roguelite reward cards to craft the ultimate machine before the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH ends the run.

Endings & Replay

Your thermal and moral choices unlock 8 unique endings (5 main and 3 hidden). Each run blends risk, memory, and precision as you balance uptime with the ever-present threat of collapse.

Additional flavor includes scanning BIOS logs and reading 36+ emails to uncover hidden narratives. System Overload challenges you to maintain control while the digital world tests your resolve.
