Fortunato description

Fortunato

Fortunato blends a four‑player poker table with rogue‑like deckbuilding and battle card mechanics. Start by drawing a pair of aces and decide how to use them—as your poker hands to win pots or as powerful tools to strike down opponents. Build a deck around Jokers, then unleash their abilities to gain advantage in both poker and combat.

Each run unfolds across ever‑changing islands. You’ll explore up to four islands per run, each with unique layouts and gimmicks. Within an island you’ll encounter a variety of room types: regular matches, character challenges, bosses, special rooms, rest rooms, and a shop to sharpen your strategy.

Jokers are the heart of the deckbuilding system. These cards provide battle, poker, buff, and debuff effects that any player can use. You can reveal an opponent’s hand, force redraws, or add shields in the match‑up phase. Upgrade Jokers to stronger effects, reduce their activation cost, or duplicate them to strengthen your deck.

Fortunato offers intense island boss encounters. At the end of each island you’ll face a boss and, upon victory, may acquire that boss’s signature Joker. The foes aren’t generic—furry characters with distinct Joker decks, betting styles, and battle tendencies stand in your way, making every encounter feel fresh.

The game weaves classic poker phases—betting, drawing, revealing the Flop, and the final showdown—into a dynamic loop, with an extra match‑up phase between stages to assign battle cards. Combine strategic poker play with deckbuilding choices to outsmart opponents and climb the table.

Personal progression comes in the form of passive equipment called Charms and unlockable cosmetics for the table, card backs, chips, bet napkins, and character portraits. You’ll see a range of animal and race designs, with varied facial features, clothing, and accessories, plus playful stickers to celebrate your victories.

Fortunato is a symbol of peace—no violence, only cards. While the world of gambling is portrayed in a light‑hearted, entertaining fashion, please enjoy responsibly.
