Bag of Dreams is a cozy, card-based roguelite where you draw dream fragments from a bag and place them on your Dream Space—the quiet sanctuary you’re building to reach your nightly win condition. It’s a push-your-luck deckbuilder with a dreamy twist: each draw could bring you closer to a perfect night’s sleep or push you toward creeping nightmares.

How it works

• Every bag comes with a distinct win condition, defined by specific cards or groups of cards you assemble.
• Cards provide effects and resources—Dream Essence to expand your space, and Dust to buy new fragments. Some cards are nightmares that force themselves into play and boost Nightmare Fuel.
• Too much Nightmare Fuel triggers terrors and traumas, threatening to unravel the dream you’ve built.
• Each run is played in two phases: rounds alternate between drawing and placing fragments, then a shop phase lets you grow your collection.
• Visit the Lucis Exchange between rounds to spend Essence and Dust wisely, unlock new Dream Spaces, or purchase more fragments.

Two phases, one evolving dream

• Draw and place fragments during rounds to build toward your dream, balancing immediate gains with long-term strategy.
• During the shop phase, spend Dust and Essence to grow your deck and your Dream Space. You can reroll the shop offerings, but each reroll costs Dust.

The game emphasizes choices under risk: push too far and nightmare fuel accumulates, inviting terrors and traumas that destabilize your plans. The balance between advancing your dream and guarding against danger is central to every night.

Replayability thrives on hundreds of fragment synergies and multiple Dream Spaces, each with unique mechanics. No two nights play the same, rewarding bold play while punishing reckless decisions.

In the Lucid Exchange, Essence unlocks new dream spaces, and Dust purchases new fragments. Re-rolls help you seek the perfect card for your bag, adding a deliberate risk-reward loop to tuning your setup.

Sweet dreams aren’t guaranteed, but the chase is addictive: build, gamble, and refine your space to outlast the creeping night.
