Amyria — Description

Amyria is a sandbox action RPG set in a reimagined fantasy Age of Exploration. Step into a newly discovered continent where rival powers scramble for dominance and every choice echoes through the world. Ports buzz with rumor and opportunity, factions rise and fall, and people chase power in ways noble, desperate, and ruthless.

In this living world, every NPC is intelligent and humanlike. They think, understand, plan, and evolve. Speak freely to anyone: type or say anything, and characters react based on knowledge, personality, and history with you. You can persuade, negotiate, deceive, threaten, or build trust—your words matter and they are remembered.

The world itself is dynamic. Leaders can fall, towns can flourish or fade, and your actions can spark unscripted changes: remove a key figure and new power struggles emerge; disrupt a local economy and migration, conflict, or opportunity follows. Rumors of your exploits travel through taverns and markets, shaping how strangers greet you before you arrive. NPCs pursue their own goals and react to global events, even when you roam on the far side of the continent.

Choose how you approach the world. Combat offers a range of styles: melee swordplay built on timing and positioning, ranged with flintlocks, muskets, and crossbows, rare and feared magic, parkour across rooftops, and stealth that slips you past guards. Mix them to fit your plan—talk your way in, scale a wall, and snipe from a ledge. Your build is your choice.

You are not the chosen one. There is no prophecy guiding you. You become who you decide to be—honorable or ruthless, leader, trader, explorer, deceiver, or manipulator. Every quest accepted or ignored carries consequences, from liberating a faction to alienating another, from helping a shy villager to shaping their future romance. Violence, mercy, or inaction are all options, and the world will remember the outcomes.

Play solo or with friends in co-op for up to four players. Explore, scheme, fight, and shape the world together. For creators, Steam Workshop support is in active development, inviting the community to add new content to Amyria’s living landscape.
