DETRUST

DETRUST is an online co‑op game for up to 12 players that centers on teamwork and betrayal. You’ve been sent to a damaged facility to perform essential repairs before the scheduled decontamination begins. Complete tasks, monitor threats, and work toward an escape—before one of your teammates turns on you.

As you explore the facility, you’ll need to gather gear to survive. Search for weapons, access cards, boosters, and essential tools. Found items let you open shortcuts, operate security systems, and unlock restricted areas, creating new routes and options under pressure.

Roles and Goals

The crew comprises distinct roles. Some players focus on repairing modules, restoring power, maintaining life support, and keeping systems online. Others are armed to defend the group from dangers and intrusions within the facility. One player hides among the crew as the traitor, quietly attempting to eliminate everyone while avoiding suspicion. The traitor’s true allegiance is concealed until the moment they strike.

Collaboration is essential. Share information about what you’ve found, coordinate repairs, and plan your movements together. Time pressure and the presence of a hidden threat force you to communicate clearly and act as a unit if you hope to survive.

Social Deduction and Playstyle

DETRUST emphasizes social deduction. Talk with teammates, watch for suspicious movements, and follow clues to identify the traitor. Trust can shift with every observation, and a single misstep may tilt the balance in favor of the killer. Use discussion to reveal truths or to mislead—and adapt your strategy as new information comes to light.

Objective and Escaping

Your ultimate aim is to complete the repairs and escape before the decontamination sequence begins. If the traitor prevents you from finishing the work or sabotages your plan, the clock will run out and the facility will seal. Cooperation, careful information sharing, and decisive teamwork are your best chances to outsmart the traitor and reach the exit alive.
