CROWD blends social deduction with fast-paced action in a crowded map filled with NPCs. Move, complete tasks, and stay invisible to others while rival players search for impostors. The game thrives on tension, misdirection, and quick decision-making as you navigate a lively crowd and the ever-present risk of exposure.

Gameplay at a Glance

Players take on the role of Imposters among a crowd of NPCs. Your objective is to perform tasks and gain points without being spotted, or outsmart rivals by taking decisive actions. Each match starts with three Lives; defeating NPCs costs one life each. Lives can be reset by eliminating another Imposter, creating a dramatic comeback mechanic that keeps every round unpredictable.

Imposter Role

Imposter: Your core goal is stealth and strategy. Complete tasks to accumulate points while remaining undetected, but you can also win by eliminating other Imposters and being the Last Imposter Standing. Use the crowd to mask movements, time your assaults, and disrupt rivals with careful staging and timing.

Special Tasks and Perks

Random Special Tasks can spawn during a match. The first player to finish a Special Task earns a Perk—a temporary advantage designed to help reveal impostors or mislead opponents. Perks are limited and powerful, so choose moments wisely to shift the balance in your favor.

• Color Bomb — Outlines only the NPCs inside the radius you activate, revealing nearby movement.
• Mine Sensor — When a nearby player approaches, it alerts the creator, providing a warning when danger is near.
• NPC Controller — Forces a nearby NPC to shoot another NPC, creating fake combat cues that can mislead rivals.

Each Perk brings a distinct tactical edge, from spotting suspects to sowing confusion. Use them strategically to uncover impostors or to avert suspicion yourself.

Host Mode and Settings

The Host can tailor rounds before they begin. Adjust Player Lives, Hint Level, Points to Win, Fog Density, and the Map to fit your group’s style. These options influence visibility, pacing, and difficulty, enabling private lobbies for friends or larger, public experiences that keep everyone on their toes.
