Clan and Crown description

Clan and Crown

Clan and Crown is a pixel‑art strategy simulation where you begin with a single family and grow its influence across a living city. Through procreation, industry investment, careful decision making, and cunning alliances, your clan rises to become the most powerful lineage in town.

  • Family growth and industries — After you start your family, you marry, have children, and expand your clan tree. Your children progress from birth through kindergarten to university, gain workplace experience, take control of industries, and build reputation to run for city magistrate. Their efforts directly contribute to your family’s power.
  • Industries and opportunities — The city holds 13 industries containing 70 businesses, unlockable via a tech tree. Your children can work in these sectors, extending your reach and influence across the city.
  • Dynamic events and risk — As your family grows, you’ll face events ranging from troublesome children to assassination attempts, fierce business competition, and internal betrayal. You can mobilize your clan to act — form alliances, wage wars, uncover or deploy spies, and engage in diplomacy or underhanded tactics.
  • Control the city — Once magistrates are elected, you shape the city’s landscape: decide which districts become industrial zones, scenic areas, or transportation hubs. Plan a city that is both beautiful and functional.
  • Governance and power plays — You can recruit talent, attract investment, collect taxes, meet people with special abilities, and even buy or sell official positions. Looting, free or forced trade, liberating or enslaving residents, conducting massacres, and building public works are all options as you govern.
  • Challenges in governance — Expect commodity shortages, price swings, resident complaints, law disputes, unemployment, social unrest, rumors, migration, disasters, and other shocks. Your leadership must adapt to keep the city stable.
  • Military options — If elections fail, you can deploy an army to subdue hostile cities and rival families by force.
  • Rich events — The game features a broad event system: natural events like epidemics and economic crises; family milestones such as weddings, funerals, accidents, and children studying abroad; hostile families’ schemes including assassination, kidnapping, alliances, and infiltration; and city‑level developments that arise as your power grows.

Build your dynasty through strategic planning, social maneuvering, and decisive action in a living pixel world where every choice shapes the fate of your clan and the city itself.
