In 2040, rifts in spacetime known as “Gates” open across the globe. For those who venture through, curiosity gives way to survival as aberrant entities overrun cities. Nations form joint response units centered on the most capable “Awakened” individuals, and you are chosen as the operator—the player’s avatar tasked with entering Gates, destroying their cores, and sealing the distortions while eradicating threats.

As seasons unfold, Core Gems and mission logs are analyzed, gradually revealing a deeper conspiracy behind the Gates and the forces that move them. The story places you at the center of a widening mystery, where every Gate presents a unique threat and environment, demanding strategy, skill, and resolve.

Role and Progression

You lead a squad through dangerous gateways, using a starting loadout earned in the tutorial: Basic Weapon, Basic Armor, and a Basic Skill. Armor and Accessories are currently unavailable, reinforcing a focus on weaponry and core mechanics. The game features a List & Combination System for weapons and gear, encouraging tactical choices that adapt to each Gate’s challenges.

Gameplay Essentials

The core mechanics center on Gate traversal, destroying a Gate’s core to seal the distortion, and eliminating hostile threats. Each Gate offers distinct objectives and enemy patterns, testing your reflexes and planning. Season-based progression unlocks new clues and deeper lore as you collect Core Gems and review mission logs, gradually uncovering why the Gates appeared and who or what is driving them.
