We Are So F*cked: The Last Critter Crew description

We Are So F*cked: The Last Critter Crew

In a long-silent, post-apocalyptic winter, you lead a small expedition team into frozen facilities in search of vital supplies. The world outside has collapsed, and the ruins hide threats that do not behave as they once did – some are familiar, others strange and mutated. Every discovery raises questions, and every failure can cost your crew their lives.

Day & Night Survival Loop: The game centers on a full day–night cycle. By day, you select target locations and dispatch 1–4 team members to explore abandoned facilities for essential resources. Progressing through expeditions unlocks story beats, new locations, key items, and fresh crew members. By night, you must carefully manage energy, gear, and condition — craft equipment, plan ahead, and prepare your team to improve efficiency and survival for the next day.

Expedition Command System: As commander, issue real-time orders such as Move, Hide, Search, and Rescue to guide your squad through unknown interiors in real-time. Exploration unfolds in 3D environments where lurking dangers emerge from the shadows. Coordinate your crew to balance thorough searching with staying alive.

Goals, Endings & Choices: The game offers multiple endings. Key objectives and items needed to reach each ending are found through exploration and must be triggered by completing specific tasks. Time advances the environment toward greater hostility, so delaying or mismanaging the crew can lead to a bad ending.

Crew & Tactics: Each expedition member brings known survival traits. Use their strengths to maximize endurance and discovery. The Last Critter Crew demands smart assignment and adaptive tactics to keep everyone alive long enough to uncover the truth behind the catastrophe.

Camp Management & Environmental Challenges: Gathered materials fuel camp crafts and upgrades. Maintain your team’s condition and prepare for the next mission. Some scenarios push you into environmental hazards like underwater cave diving (oxygen management) and snowfield exploration (body temperature monitoring), adding realism and extra layers of challenge.

Modes & Duration: At launch, Story Mode is available. A Free Mode will be added later via a free update. Expect roughly 6–10 hours of playtime depending on your strategy and choices.

Navigate a harsh, evolving world where every expedition exposes what remains of civilization and what lurks in the shadows. Tactical decisions, resource management, and swift teamwork are the keys to surviving the last critters and uncovering the fate of the facilities that once powered humanity.
