Gravity Gauntlet is a mind-bending portal-like puzzle platformer set deep within the ruins of a crumbling space station. You bend gravity to manipulate objects, flip rooms, and carve new paths as you race against time and the station's collapsing hull. The atmosphere blends dim corridors, flickering consoles, and distant alarms with a persistent sense of danger. In this perilous environment, every action reshapes your surroundings and tests your nerves, because gravity can be your greatest tool or your swiftest trap on the way to escape the impending catastrophe.

At the heart of the game is a unique six-directional gravity mechanic. You can tilt, pull, or push gravity in every axis to move blocks, spin chambers, and rearrange the environment. The same power that lets you crush a wall also can send you sailing through empty space if you misjudge a flip. Objects follow realistic physics, turning simple movements into intricate puzzles that reward careful planning, timing, and spatial intuition. The portal-like level design folds space in surprising ways, inviting experimentation and offering multiple routes to progress and backtrack when mistakes happen.

Story and exploration are woven into every puzzle. Uncover fragments scattered through the station to learn what happened before the final outage. Logs, recordings, and decoded clues hint at the events leading to the disaster, while the station’s interconnected branches reveal a non-linear map of corridors, labs, and cargo bays. Your choices influence which areas you access, which fragments you unlock, and how the narrative unfolds, encouraging replay to discover alternate sequences, hidden rooms, and different outcomes.

Originally created as part of the Game Studio Course at the University of Würzburg, Gravity Gauntlet has grown into a richer experience. It now features expanded puzzles that use gravity shifts in combination with portal-like twists, improved visuals with clearer lighting and effects, and a full narrative that ties the station’s mysterious doom to your investigation.
