Run! Goblin Is Here is a turn-based RPG that emphasizes immersive storytelling and deep character development. You play as Wang Dahui, an ordinary high school student who must survive through strategic battles and grow closer to his companions through exploration and dialogue. Their trust and growth become your strongest weapons against the encroaching darkness. The ultimate goal guides every choice: unravel the mystery, close the barrier, save everyone, and reclaim the campus you call home.

Unknown supernatural forces rip reality apart and drag the entire campus into a perilous barrier. Goblins, shadows, and other twisted monsters haunt the corridors and classrooms, threatening teachers and students alike. In this sudden crisis, Wang Dahui must rise—he is not a born hero, but he is determined to find a missing friend and lead survivors to safety.

On the road to safety, you will meet distinct partners: Ryoko Takashima, a calm and wise academic genius; Chen Hao, passionate and reliable; and Nobuo Rongwei, a calm and capable teacher. Together they scavenge for supplies, establish strongholds within the dangerous campus, and pursue the disaster’s source—the ancient secrets buried in the school’s history and underground.

Core experiences split into two pillars: Survival and Combat. When facing monsters led by goblins, you will issue strategic turn-based commands, leveraging the environment, skill combos, and each character’s unique traits to gain the upper hand.

Exploration and Decryption push you to traverse unfamiliar campus areas, collect clues and resources, piece together the truth behind the supernatural events, and discover ways to reverse the disaster.

Role and Growth lie at the heart of the experience. You’ll guide Wang Dahui and each survivor through a rich story where every character’s background and personal mission influence the main narrative. The Bond System deepens connections through co‑op battles and plot choices, unlocking special combination skills and shaping pivotal decisions. Characters evolve from anxious students into reliable warriors and close friends as you journey together.
