Dependium description
Dependium
Dependium throws four players into a high-pressure coordination challenge where individual skill means nothing without teamwork. Each participant faces their own rapidly rotating series of cognitive puzzles, memory tests, pattern recognition, shape matching, and reflex challenges, all unfolding at a relentless pace.
But there's a twist: the points you earn don't go to you. Every puzzle you solve helps your team, and every puzzle you fail hurts them. When a teammate hits zero, they're out—and the entire team feels the loss, adding weight to every decision you make.
How it works is simple in concept but brutal in execution: four players. four corners. four different puzzles happening simultaneously. You can watch your teammates struggle with their challenges in real-time, but you can't help them directly. All you can do is solve your own puzzle fast enough to keep them alive. Health constantly drains. The clock never stops. In this arena, teamwork is everything.
Key Features
- Asymmetric Cooperation: Succeed together by helping the person next to you, creating a chain of mutual dependence.
- Split-Screen Spectating: Watch all four players simultaneously as they race against their own challenges, amplifying the tension as teammates stumble.
- Rotating Minigames: A varied mix of memory tests, color matching, shape recognition, pattern recall, and coordination challenges that shift continuously.
- Escalating Pressure: Constant health drain and increasing difficulty push players toward faster, smarter choices under fire.
- Boss Fight Sequences: Periodic synchronized challenges that require flawless coordination from all four players to survive.
- No AI Teammates: This is a real multiplayer experience requiring four human players, not bots.
