Nocturn puts you in the shoes of a lone hero charged with protecting his villagers and holding back the eternal darkness threatening your world. Gather resources, rebuild your outpost, and manage your people to ensure survival as night after night the shadows press in.

The core of the game is a real-time defense and exploration loop where you must stay alert during brutal assaults. Darkness is your greatest enemy: keep enough light to prevent villagers from turning into hostile creatures, and weigh the harsh option of exile if a villager becomes a danger to the group.
