R Mate

R Mate is a pirate‑themed open‑world survival game set on a mysterious island washed ashore with danger at every corner. Surrounded by skeletal guardians and other hostile creatures, you must choose your path: build a resilient base and craft your way to safety, or venture across the shore in search of hidden booty. The world evolves with weather and day/night cycles that influence tactics and opportunities, creating a living, breathing island to explore.

Core gameplay

Explore a wide, open world filled with ruins, coves, and peril. Engage in melee and ranged combat against skeletons and humanoids, or trade and interact with a variety of NPCs. Recruit a follower to assist in ventures, take on quests from dedicated quest givers, and uncover the island’s many secrets as you progress.

Base, crafting, and living systems

Build and customize your haven with unique structures, defensive walls, and decorative elements. Create practical setups for farming and fishing to sustain your crew, and craft a wide array of weapons, clothing, and healing items to survive the threats of the island. A robust skill tree lets you level up and unlock powerful abilities as you explore, fight, and complete challenges.

Equipment and features

Expect a diverse arsenal with many weapon types to suit different playstyles. Manage resources, gather rare materials, and fashion armor and gear that improve your combat prowess. The world includes fishing, farming, and the ability to recruit followers who can aid in exploration or combat. A flyable helicopter adds a thrilling mobility option, achievable after discovering a suitable platform, expanding how you reach distant corners of the map.
