Thrust Issues description

Thrust Issues

Thrust Issues launches you onto a ruined colony world, once a beacon of promise, now crippled by unbalanced resource consumption. The catastrophe scatters essential parts and cripples the AI that kept the ship and machinery running. You are among the last four survivors, and your only chance at salvation is to reach the main space station by sending a distress signal.

Robotics are hard in this broken system. With the Programmable Sequence Machines (P.S.M) misfiring and the ship’s artificial intelligence destroyed, you must take manual control of the sequences that steer your craft. Your team must carefully map a path through the wreckage and power the beacon by reconstituting the ship’s control flow from the ground up.

EXPLORE, INSERT, ADJUST, EXECUTE & REPEAT. The core loop is a meticulous puzzle: locate the programming cartridges scattered across the landscape on foot, determine the satellite location required to send a rescue beacon, and then place and arrange the cartridges in the ship’s cockpits so that your spacecraft can reach the satellite. Each cartridge acts as a link in a chain that must be aligned just right for ignition and transmission.

The environment tests your teamwork and nerve. Oxygen is scarce, power is erratic, and every cartridge placement can tilt the outcome. With four survivors, you split tasks—pilot, engineer, navigator, and tactician—coordinating under pressure as you map the terrain and coax failing systems back to life.

Once the cartridges are positioned, you’ll board the spacecraft and confirm takeoff. When you are sure the satellite is connected, you must program the remaining cockpits to fly to a high point and attempt to send the signal. The clock is ticking, and the fragility of your makeshift technology raises the stakes with every decision.

  • Explore the terrain on foot to recover vital programming cartridges.
  • Identify the satellite location that will carry your distress beacon to the space station.
  • Place and arrange cartridges inside cockpits to guide the ship’s path toward the satellite.
  • Board the spacecraft, verify ignition, and lift off under pressure.
  • Coordinate the remaining cockpits to reach a high point and attempt the rescue signal.

Sharpen your timing, precision, and problem-solving as you rebuild a broken technology stack from the ground up. Can you overcome the thrust issues, realign the sequence machines, and pull off a successful rescue?
