Kasha vs. Kritters description

Overview

Kasha vs. Kritters is a fast-paced retro arcade action game where you guide Kasha, a young catgirl defending her home from a swarm of invading pests. With her big sister Milchi away, Kasha fights back using pure speed, street-smart instincts, and a tail that doubles as a broom. It’s a high-energy battle to keep the house safe from cheese-stealing freeloaders.

Gameplay

The game delivers tight, responsive arcade combat inspired by classic 90s action games. Clear waves of enemies with simple, twitch-style movement that rewards timing and precision. Build enemy combos by defeating foes quickly, let too many foods be stolen, and you’ll feel the cost. Earn big scores for long kill chains, securing food in the fridge, and clearing rooms fast. The design emphasizes addictive replayability and high-score chase.

House, Not a Level

Fight across the many rooms of Kasha’s home, including The Kitchen, The Bathroom, The Balcony, The Bedrooms, The Living Room, The Dining Room, The Grotto, and more locations. Each room presents distinct layouts and opportunities to chain combos while defending precious sustenance.

Kreepy Kritters & Bosses

Face over a dozen enemy types with unique attack patterns and food-chasing behavior. Expect cuckoo birds that lay eggs in odd places, swarming mice, growing brown rats, greedy roaches, divebombing seagulls, spike-armored snails, trash-raiding raccoons, agile monkeys, and more. Eventually you’ll confront the REALLY BIG KRITTERS: the gorilla chef Gaston Grilla, the pompous Ratlord, the foul-tempered Thunderous Bloathawk, and a final shadowy serpentine figure—a mysterious glutton with a belly as big as their ego.

Visuals & Audio

Enjoy handcrafted pixel art visuals across every level and enemy, paired with high-energy retro synth music and sound effects. Pixel-art cutscenes and expressive character animations introduce Kasha’s quirky world.

Modes & Features

After beating the main game, unlock Survival and Endless modes to push even further. Track high scores, challenge friends, and adjust difficulty with customizable lives and continues. Optional arcade-quarters tracking adds a classic arcade feel to the experience.
