Build your food deck and play smart to maximize energy. The food stored in your cheek pouches is your key to success. Each turn, a random selection of food is spat out, and you can eat it to gain energy. Different foods have different effects, so strategically ordering what you eat can trigger powerful interactions and boost your energy absorption rate.

Manage energy wisely. Gaining energy efficiently lets you collect more food and items. Any energy you don’t absorb immediately can help your hamster produce choco, and the energy locked in choco can be fully absorbed later. Clever use of energy opens up bigger rewards as you explore and expand your stash.

Explore diverse places. Venture to various exploration locations to encounter new types of food. Each place yields different items and flavors, giving you fresh ways to fill your deck and grow your power. In addition to exploration spots, you’ll find stash and market areas to broaden your options even further.

Items and preparation. Items come in two families: camping gear and consumables. Once you acquire an item, read its description before using it to plan how it fits into your strategy. Smart item use can turn the tide when you need a burst of energy or a defensive edge.

OKR-driven progression. Complete the OKR to keep growing—or you can return to the cage. Survival hinges on hoarding, and each season introduces different hoarding OKR challenges. As you level up your hoarding, the barn unlocks more food, reveals new content, and improves your survival skills.

Seasonal constraints. Winter brings tighter limits: no credit is allowed, and the required amount of food increases significantly. Plan carefully, optimize your deck, and synchronize your hoarding with the season to endure the chill and thrive.
