Body & Soul is a thoughtful puzzle game where you control a rotating cast of characters and work to reach the goal tile. Each level challenges you to figure out a path that brings you to the exit while navigating clever barriers and obstacles.

A guiding force, God’s ray, keeps you alive as long as you stay within its line of sight. When the line of sight is broken by an obstruction, you die and become a ghost, drifting through the level until you re-enter the gaze of God’s ray.

While you are in God's sight, you can possess any body you encounter. This possession mechanic lets you move through the level by switching control between bodies, using the available forms to traverse the space and push toward the goal.

The core challenge is to plan a route that remains protected by the ray and leverages possession at the right moments. It’s a game about timing, observation, and careful sequencing, where a single misstep can turn your progress into a ghostly reset and require a fresh approach to the same puzzle.

With each level, you are invited to experiment and discover new ways to advance. Watch the ray’s path, predict when it will see you, and choose your moves to maintain life and advance toward the objective. The puzzles reward thoughtful exploration and replay, encouraging you to seek cleaner, smarter routes over brute force.
