Why Am I Here is a survival game split between a Demo Prologue and a Full Release preview. The journey begins at the foot of the Bavarian Alps, in an era of relentless cold where even the air trembles. You have nothing: no food, no fire, no tools—only hunger and a body numbed by frost. Your only companion is a small, stubborn stray dog you name Brave. At night the wind tears at your fragile shelter, and tomorrow offers only two outcomes: change, or death.

Core play blends resource management with survival challenge. An automatic daily save records your choices, and today’s decisions become tomorrow’s costs or safeguards. Hunger and cold are your constant threats: you must craft protective gear, tracking and hunting for food and materials. Every action trades energy for warmth, calories, and stability. Do not neglect Brave—he has needs and emotions of his own, shaping how you move through the world.

Demo content presents the in‑development experience, inviting feedback during Next Fest to refine systems, balance, and the game’s direction. The Full Release Preview expands the world with new possibilities and characters.

Full Release Preview: The Village of “Home.” As you endure, other lost souls may find you, seeking warmth and protection. New structures and roles appear—tavern, hunting party, and more—transforming your camp into a growing settlement.
