Rondo's Romp

Rondo's Romp is a vibrant 2D platformer where digging is just as important as jumping. Play as Rondo, a cheerful Akita dog, and dig anywhere on natural terrain to uncover items, power-ups, and throwable objects.

Each object you uncover—whether clumps of dirt, rocks, or bouncy balls—has its own physics. Some roll, some bounce, some fly in a straight line. Mastering their quirks lets you pop balloons, break blocks, activate switches, and outsmart enemies. You can even grab stunned foes and throw them to clear obstacles or knock out other threats.

Explore six interconnected worlds, and meet friendly characters who offer tips, side challenges, or access to shops. In each world you’ll earn unique coins to purchase useful items, powerful throwable objects, or special headgear that grants new abilities. Your inventory stores these goodies, and you can equip them whenever you need a clever solution.

Scattered throughout every world are elemental gems. Collect enough to unlock that world’s lighthouse level, a high-stakes challenge ending with a boss battle against a member of the Iguana Armada. Defeat the foe, relight the lighthouse beacon, and restore balance to that realm.

The game features a fully realized demo: one world with nine levels, one boss fight, and three shops. The levels showcase the full range of gameplay mechanics, from precise digging to clever item use, ensuring a varied and engaging experience as you guide Rondo toward relighting the first lighthouse.
