Redd's Quest — Overview

Redd's Quest is a top-down 2D action roguelite wave-survival game where you battle through increasingly tough enemies in fast-paced arena bouts. Wield sword combos, recite magic tombs, throw lightning spears, and unlock a toolbox of abilities to grow stronger with every run.

You begin with nothing but a trusty sword and a surge of speed, then answer the call of a nearby Orc tribe hosting a brutal combat tournament. Enter the arena and survive as long as you can — the longer you endure, the greater the rewards.

This is rogue-lite design at work: each run pushes your strength forward rather than resetting you to zero. Every defeat teaches you, and currency earned in a run carries over to future attempts, helping you push deeper into the arena.

Use your currency to upgrade your character with a variety of items and abilities, once the respective vendors are unlocked. Some items persist until death, while many abilities continue to influence you after you respawn, letting you grow stronger with every defeat.

Expect fast-paced Hack ’N’ Slash action, with unique interactions and a wide array of upgradeable abilities. Encounter diverse enemies drawn from across the universe and conquer numerous boss battles that demand strategy, timing, and skill.

Redd's Quest is planned for an Open Beta in 2026. Open Beta tests will provide a sneak peek at new content, systems, and balance as the game evolves toward full release.
