Launch your heavily armed Star-Fighter into devastating battles across the galaxy in an intense on-the-rails space shooter. You pilot a skilled fighter aboard the Interstellar Battleship Alastrius, the last capital ship defending the Republic after a sudden coup. Your mission is to blast a path through enemy strongholds, liberate the capital world Velora, and restore the Republic.

The Battleship Alastrius houses a diverse fleet of Star-Fighters. Three are available at the start, with seven more unlockable through campaign success. Each fighter holds a loadout of Laser Cannons, with long-range firepower, and you can call in powerful Homing Missiles for tougher targets. If more devastation is needed, Bombs can wipe out large areas. Every fighter has a unique role, so choose wisely because if you lose it in combat, it's gone for the rest of the campaign.

Navigate through 16 distinct locations — lush forests, vast deserts, bottomless icy glaciers, and broken volcanic mining worlds — as you plot a course from planet to space station, nebula, and beyond. The campaign features numerous missions, compelling storyline developments, and secret routes that reward exploration and multiple playthroughs. The devious Imperium has seized most of the Republic’s forces and will throw drones, fighters, tanks, boats, turrets, mines, and traps at you, demanding careful tactics and precision aiming to expose weak points and maximize scores.

Can you earn a Gold Medal in every mission? Some missions end with massive superweapons and epic boss confrontations. Depending on your path, a different boss may strike at the end, testing your skill and strategy. For practice, there is a Training Simulator led by Rahalla, your Dispatch Officer aboard the Alastrius. Rahalla is fully voice acted and will guide you through training and through the unfolding civil war story as it progresses.

Controls are flexible: full Keyboard-and-Mouse for precise aiming, or a classic Twin-Stick Gamepad experience with complete rebinding options. Alastrius emphasizes stylish, sharp visuals with bold colors and stylized environments and vehicles, backed by atmospheric music and intense retro boss tracks that heighten every encounter.

Each mission challenges your piloting, weapon synergy, and target prioritization. With permadeath for fighters, every choice matters: pick a balanced squad for the mission depending on terrain and objectives, then adapt on the fly as enemy tactics shift. Between missions you assemble your armory and tailor your approach to the next route. Scores, medals, and hidden routes encourage repeat runs to uncover alternate paths, encounter different bosses, and unlock additional weapons and fighter variants for future campaigns.
