Rise of the Cones: Planetary Defense is a classic tower defense with surprising depth. Enemies follow fixed paths toward your base, and you place towers along those routes to disrupt their advance. Each tower type serves a distinct purpose: raw damage to punch through crowds, crowd control to slow and cluster foes, support to bolster your defenses, and area denial to block zones and steer the waves where you want them.

Every tower is a strategic choice. A tower has three upgrade paths, each with five tiers. You can invest in only two paths per tower, so every placement becomes a deliberate decision: push for overwhelming DPS, build a long‑range zone controller, or craft a flexible, hybrid setup. The same unit can become very different depending on which paths you select, inviting experimentation and forcing you to weigh risk and reward in real time.

Progression fuels experimentation. Complete missions to earn research points, unlocking new towers and additional upgrades. The deeper you push into the game, the more unconventional your builds feel, broadening your tactical toolbox and reshaping how you defend the planet against the cone onslaught.
