Wrongbots description

Wrongbots

Wrongbots is a fast-paced roguelite shooter about surviving wave after wave of hostile machines in a world where humans are gone. You aren’t a hero—you’re a robotic mistake. Marked as an error, you’re hunted by the Great Master Machine, and every run is a fight to prove you shouldn’t be erased.

Jump into chaotic arenas packed with enemies that use distinct attack patterns, forcing you to keep moving, learn their behaviors, and adapt your build on the fly. Break through the metal tide with tight shooting and smart positioning, then turn the battlefield into your advantage by ripping resources from the environment.

Build a bot that shouldn’t exist

  • Control robots with different skills and playstyles.
  • Swap body parts—mix and match head, torso, and legs to change how you function (6 parts, 8 combinations).
  • Upgrade and modify weapons with run-defining effects like twin shots, explosive rounds, or penetrating bullets.

Hack, smash, craft, repeat

  • Hack consoles during a run to gain powerful bonuses and momentum-shifting advantages.
  • Smash machinery to collect resources and keep your build growing.
  • Craft useful items such as ammo—or even a brand-new head—when survival demands it.

Between runs, Wrongbots keeps you pushing forward with metaprogression: earn upgrades and take on missions that expand your capabilities and open new ways to survive. Each attempt is a new experiment in destruction—combine parts, weapon mods, and bonuses to create a lethal machine, then see how long you can last against the system that wants you deleted.
