Scratch your Luck description

Scratch your Luck

You're buried in debt and weekly demands keep rising. A mysterious patron offers a risky lifeline: scratch-off tickets that could finally balance the books—or push you deeper into trouble. Each run represents a single desperate week of gambling, shopping, and fighting to stay alive long enough to meet your quota.

  • Run-based debt survival: Play through week-long runs where failing to meet the payment ends the current run, but your knowledge of strategies and shop paths carries over. Quotas rise as you progress, nudging you toward bolder bets and tougher decisions.
  • Scratch-off core gameplay: In the night phase you sit at a table and reveal ticket lines one by one. Each line shows a cash value and a multiplier; you decide which lines to buy, scratch, and cash in. Payouts go straight into your balance as you uncover results.
  • Seed-based RNG: Every run uses a seed so results feel random yet fair; the same seed generates the same tickets, letting you replay or share lucky setups with others.
  • Shop and upgrades: Winnings open a small shop where you can buy more tickets, try riskier cards with bigger multipliers, and acquire totems that tweak odds, dud rates, and multiplier ranges.
  • Rising pressure over time: Weekly quotas climb as you succeed, forcing you to weigh safe, low-risk lines against high-risk tickets that can clear debt in a single moment or leave you with nothing.
  • First-person table gameplay: Move around a cramped apartment, sit at the table to scratch, and use an in-world phone to access the shop—keeping you immersed beyond plain menus.

Your goal is simple: survive each week by meeting the debt quota. The seed system makes each run feel unique yet replayable, while the shop and upgrades deepen strategy as the stakes grow. Will you claw your way out, or fall deeper into the hole?
