Yellow

YELLOW is a liminal-space survival horror game in which you play as a Major Explorer Group (M.E.G.) employee—fully equipped in hazmat gear—tasked with routine inspections of Backrooms zones and stations. Your mission is to investigate newly discovered “Undocumented” entities lurking in these spaces. These beings are completely unknown, with zero information available, so you must uncover their origins and determine why fresh sections of the Backrooms are appearing.

Game structure

The world unfolds across multiple chapters, each offering its own distinct environment, entity type, mechanics, and behavior. In this initial build (0.1.0), there are four main levels to explore:

• The Lobby
• The Yellow Halls
• The Dark Rooms
• The Classrooms

New levels are planned with every update as development continues.
