Rogue Ricochet fuses arcade ball-bouncing action with roguelike deckbuilding. You launch a ball across a battlefield filled with waves of enemies and hazards, chasing the highest score while striving to stay in play as long as possible. Each bounce is unique, because you physically attach weapons to the ball. Swords, spears, magic staffs, buzzsaws and more grip the ball at precise angles, altering trajectory, damage, weight, and the status effects you unleash with every contact.

Your arsenal is modular and strategic. Build multiple Ball Loadouts, each with its own weapon configuration and cooldown, so you can switch tactics on the fly. Between volleys you spend resources to draw from a deck that evolves with your run. Card draws scale with the levels you commit, and once a card is played it becomes spent for that journey—requiring careful planning to keep your deck synergizing from encounter to encounter. The Card Phase freezes time, pulls the camera back, and lets you queue spells, buffs, and strikes for a devastating sequence.

Combat rewards precision and timing. Bullet Time slows the world as the ball approaches, giving you a heartbeat to position, angle, and strike. A perfectly-timed paddle lunge can send the ball roaring back into the ranks, while melee hits land when enemies overstep. Aim with intent and turn every bounce into a calculated strike to clear encounters quickly and climb the ranks.

Explore a living, procedurally generated map that grows with your progress. Regions belong to kingdoms spanning wild frontiers to vast empires, and your choices reshape the world between runs. Each journey reveals new biomes, enemies, hazards, and rewards, with dungeons, settlements, and rest stops guiding your path. More regions and dynamic interactions are planned, ensuring no two runs are alike as you ricochet between them.

Encounters feature intelligent enemies that dodge, charge, cast, and adapt to your tactics, including elite modifiers and multi-phase bosses. Your Ball Loadouts and deck interact with evolving physics to create endless build possibilities. Collect XP and gold to upgrade weapons and cards, then repair and rethink your kit at settlements to extend your runs.

Between journeys, curate your deck—decide which cards endure across runs and which must be replenished. The game emphasizes strategic choices: invest in powerful buffs or sustain your card pool to survive deeper raids. The ongoing development plan adds new weapon types, deeper card synergies, new classes and biomes, legacy progression, endgame bosses, and mod support, all shaped by player feedback to expand the endless possibilities of your high-scoring build.
