Set among the serene Boseong Green Tea Fields of South Korea, Green Tea Field Mayhem is a thrilling multiplayer psychological hide-and-seek experience. Players choose a side and dive into a sprawling, intricate maze inspired by lush tea plantations, where strategy, stealth, and mind games decide the outcome.

Roles

• Tea Fairy — protect the precious tea leaves from the mischievous Dokkaebi. The Fairy’s presence is highly exposed across the maze walls, requiring careful positioning and timing to stay ahead.
• Dokkaebi — the thiefs tasked with stealing the leaves. Dokkaebi dwell within the maze walls, using concealment to remain hidden while planning their heist.

Gameplay & Map

The field transforms into a dense, strategic arena where hide-and-seek meets tactical collection. Tea Fairy and Dokkaebi face off in a cat-and-mouse chase through winding passages, shortcuts, and hidden corners. The goal for the Fairy is to chase and catch all Dokkaebi before they secure the required tea leaves. For the Dokkaebi, the aim is to collect all mission tea leaves without being caught.

Key Mechanics

• Vulnerability and stealth — the Tea Fairy’s silhouette is highly exposed over maze walls, making detection fast. Crouching can conceal the Fairy but reduces movement speed.
• Concealment and risk — Dokkaebi can hide behind walls, creating tension as they balance staying out of sight with momentary risk when attempting vision beyond the maze.
• Mission leaves — both sides work toward a collection objective: protect or seize the required tea leaves while avoiding capture.

Core Experience

The core appeal lies in the constant risk-versus-reward decisions between concealment and exposure. Despite cute visuals, players experience a tense psychological battle that blends hide-and-seek with rapid, momentary exposure—an engaging duel of wits in a vivid green landscape.
