Step into a chilling mansion where escape hinges on your wits and nerves. This is an Exit 8–style survival puzzle that blends exploration with tense pursuit by restless spirits. The goal is simple yet dangerous: avoid the ghosts and find your path to freedom, all while searching for anomalies that guide your progress. Each playthrough offers the feeling of a race against unseen dangers, as every corner could hold a clue or a threat.

Modes and difficulty: The game offers Normal Mode and Hard Mode. In Hard Mode, the ghost moves faster, heightening tension and narrowing the window for making the right choices. Your decisions determine whether you survive long enough to reach the exit or become another echo in the halls.

Stairs and anomalies: A core mechanic centers on anomalies. When you encounter one, you must ascend the stairs; if there is no anomaly, you descend. Interact by clicking near the stairs to bring up a choice panel, then navigate with the up and down keys and confirm with a left click. This simple UI drives the rhythm of escape, forcing you to weigh risk and timing as you move between floors.

Pause and flow: If you need a breather, press the P key to enter Pause Mode. While the stair selection screen is displayed, the ghost will stop pursuing you, giving you a crucial moment to plan or reassess. Pausing is a tactical respite in an otherwise relentless chase.

Restart and progression: To switch between Normal and Hard modes, you must restart the game from the beginning. This keeps each run distinct and adds replay value as you refine your route and timing with the ghost’s speed in mind. The background music changes randomly each playthrough and is not tied to anomalies, creating a different mood every time you return.

Controls: Move with the arrow keys or WASD; adjust your view by dragging with the mouse; use P to pause. During pause, you can drag the cursor to navigate. In the menu screen, navigate with the up/down keys and confirm with a left-click.
