Zom Mat Taeng description

Zom Mat Taeng

In a ruined world, you run the last late-night diner. The customers are undead, yet their passion for gourmet skewers is real, and you are the chef who must satisfy their demanding palates. This isn’t a human crowd you’re pleasing—these zombies crave flavor, timing, and speed, all in one ruthless shift.

Core loop: take orders for skewers and assemble the right ingredients on the stick. Common cravings include pork belly, shrimp, mushrooms, and sausage, but each zombie can request different combinations. Read the order sheet carefully, then place the ingredients precisely on the skewer to build the perfect bite.

The Art of Timing: grill the skewers and wait for the exact moment to pull them off. Remove too early and the undead judge it as undercooked; burn it and it’s trash. Aim for the coveted "Golden Time" when the surface turns a flawless brown and the interior stays juicy.

Speed matters. Zombies have no patience, and if you drag your feet, the boss of the night might transform into the menu itself. Keep your hands moving and stay ahead of the clock, or risk escalating agitation from the waiting crowd.

Patience Gauge: a growing growl from a zombie signals danger. Serve quickly or—if you stall too long—watch them explode with fury. A calm, well-timed delivery earns the nod and a satisfying payoff.

Rewards and consequences shape your night. Satisfy a zombie, and they leave a thumbs-up and a thick wad of cash. An angry departure, however, guarantees they won’t return, whittling away at your profits and drawing the night toward a grim end.

Nightly Deathmatch: Rent. After closing, the real pressure begins. You must settle the rent, deducting ingredient costs and penalties. The rent climbs higher with each passing night, and a single day of deficit means bankruptcy—game over. The landlord’s demand never stops, turning your survival into a constant battle against the clock and the bill.

Survival is a balance of flavor, finance, and tempo. The world may be finished, but your little diner keeps the lights on—barely. The true regulars aren’t human; they’re hungry zombies who judge your skewers, reward the skilled, and watch the clock. How many days can you coax a profit from this undead clientele, while staying ahead of the rent and keeping the kitchen alive?
