River Runners

River Runners is a cooperative multiplayer adventure for up to four players. You and your teammates ride a single raft, each occupying a seat and controlling a paddle on your side. Steer requires perfect synchronization and constant communication—only when everyone paddles in time can you keep the course, avoid hazards, and reach the next leg of the river.

The river is a living challenge that grows more dangerous as daylight fades. Time is a scarce resource: as the sun sets, visibility drops and threats ahead become harder to spot. Stay alert, talk through every decision, and adapt to the river’s twists and turns. Along the way you’ll gather resources and money to buy useful items and upgrades at the start of each day, strengthening your chances for the journey ahead.

Hazards come quick and varied. Colliding with rocks, logs, or other debris can puncture holes in the raft. Holes drain air, and if too many remain unfixed, the raft sinks with its crew. Patching holes is essential—crewwork and quick thinking are your lifeline. Teamwork, clear communication, and rapid decision making are the difference between plowing forward and winding up in trouble.

Progression is built around multiple river legs. Each leg expands on the last, introducing new challenges and fresh opportunities. Play online co-op with friends (solo play is not recommended) and share the map as you advance. Randomized obstacles ensure that no two runs are the same, keeping each expedition exciting and unpredictable.

Collect chests floating on the water to earn money at base camp. Spend the currency at the start of each day to purchase items that aid your crew on the next leg. Some upgrades are tougher to obtain than others, rewarding teamwork and strategic planning. The river rewards bold coordination and decisive leadership—lead your crew to stay afloat, patch every hole, and navigate every hazard to reach the end.
