Create your own avatar and compete across Exhibition Matches, Tournaments, or a full Season and Career path. Earn prize money, hire coaches, and steadily improve your abilities to challenge the world's best.

Core mechanics

On each shot, you target a court tile, roll dice, and compare the result with the required number. If you meet or exceed the target, the ball lands on target; any excess reduces your opponent's return roll. If you roll under, the ball scatters to a new location. If the ball lands out, it’s a fault and the point ends. If it lands in, the rally continues and the opponent must return, with the difficulty shaped by how far they must move and how high your roll was. The action repeats until the ball is out of play.

Player skills and other modifiers tilt the dice, and players can develop critical skills that can be used once per set to gain a decisive edge in close matches.

Dynamic tennis feel

Despite its straightforward rules, the game delivers a dynamic experience that mirrors the feel of real tennis. The quality of your stroke (dice result plus skills) and the shot placement (how far the opponent must run) directly influence their chances of returning the ball, creating a constant tug-of-war that captures the excitement of a real match.

Modes, progression and coaching

Hardcourt Balls offers Exhibition play and a full progression path through tournaments and seasons. Prize money fuels your journey, letting you hire coaches to upgrade specific skills such as Forehand, Backhand, Serve, and more. After each completed match you receive a coach token that enables a skill roll; the chance of improving depends on the coach’s cost and your roll, making coaching a strategic investment.

Content and scale

Choose from over 50 avatars and face more than 130 unique AI players, each with their own look and stats. Test your prowess across more than 30 global tournaments, climbing the ranks as you refine your strategy and timing. The game pairs a broad roster with a variety of coaches and modifiers to keep each season fresh and challenging.
