Nano Dash description
Nano Dash
Nano Dash is an action puzzler strongly inspired by the classic Boulder Dash for the Commodore 64, released in 1986. It preserves the charm of 8‑bit visuals and sound while introducing new elements and a light Metroidvania vibe with a tiny story, power-ups, and a wealth of secrets and hidden dungeons.
You play as Nano, ready for big adventures. Dig through caves and dungeons, collect gems and diamonds, and reach the exit, all while dodging dangerous creatures, falling rocks, and underground explosions. The gameplay blends careful planning, precise movement, and quick reaction to survive the challenges that lie ahead.
Story Mode unfolds across six worlds, each offering unique twists, secrets, and a special item or ability to discover. Progression is designed to be selective, so some worlds or dungeons unlock only after earning specific achievements. Every world and dungeon is replayable, letting you revisit with gained abilities to uncover new hidden places and artifacts.
The game weaves Metroidvania-style exploration into its core. A subtle narrative thread runs through the adventures, and six power-ups grant Nano new capabilities. These abilities unlock previously inaccessible areas, reveal hidden routes, and facilitate deeper exploration of the world’s secrets.
Power-ups open new paths and simplify tough sections, making it possible to reach distant zones, bypass obstacles, or survive hazardous sequences. Collect and utilize the right abilities to push deeper into the caves and uncover the treasures that lie beyond.
In Dungeon Mode you can quickly dive into a variety of adventures and dungeons, aiming to beat your best run. It’s built for short sessions or extended challenges, rewarding mastery and optimization with your evolving toolset.
A built-in level editor invites creativity: build your own adventures and dungeons and share them for others to play—or test your ideas yourself. Nano Dash supports endless experimentation, with new challenges waiting in user-generated content.
