Ignition Point description
Ignition Point
Ignition Point is a competitive racing game that sits between arcade and simulation. It delivers weighty driving, meaningful braking, and rewards consistency, inviting players to learn, improve, and earn every step of a grounded, merit-based career.
Career and Progression
Your career unfolds through dynamic events and leagues that unlock as you perform. Earn league points from race results, qualify for Grand Prix events to advance, and unlock new regions and racing disciplines over time. Progression is earned by driving well, not by grinding for handouts. Your garage drives the path forward—each choice to buy, repair, or upgrade a car directly shapes which events you can enter and how competitive you’ll be.
Garage and Customization
Build a meaningful garage with both visual and performance customization. Personalize body kits, wings, paint, and liveries, and upgrade engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension. Cars start imperfectly: you’ll begin with a used vehicle and a market of affordable options that may require repairs. Smart decisions and careful upgrades open doors to entire racing categories.
Practice, Training, and Feedback
Learn and improve with dedicated training modes. Practice in sector-based layouts with real-time feedback, race against your best laps via ghost racing, and opt into racing-line guidance during training. The game rewards consistency and steady improvement as you progress.
Online Racing and Competition
Race online through competitive matchmaking with category-based grouping, track voting and veto options, and multi-race championships. Each race weekend includes practice, qualifying, and races featuring tire wear, fuel consumption, pit stops, and vehicle damage. Planned features include dedicated servers, crossplay support, and Easy Anti-Cheat integration to keep competition fair.
Disciplines
Compete across multiple motorsport disciplines—Touring & GT, Karting, Formula racing, and Rally events. Each category offers a distinct feel while sharing the same core driving philosophy: approachable yet deep, with weighty handling and meaningful progression.
