Binary Breach is an asymmetric co-op experience that fuses precise 3D platforming with strategic 2D hacking. Two players must work as a single unit to pierce a failing blockchain and breach the firewalls of an ultra-secure crypto wallet. The twist: one player is a sentient virus inside the system, while the other is the external hacker guiding them and shaping the environment. There is no solo mode—the team lives or dies together by the strength of their synergy.

Two minds, one breach

• Player 1 — The Runner (3D): Traverses the system’s architecture from within. With no map or radar, the Runner relies entirely on the Operator’s guidance to anticipate what lies around the corner. Core skills include precision platforming, wall-jumping, and air-strafing as they race toward the goal.
• Player 2 — The Operator (2D): Observes the heist through a retro-futuristic terminal and acts as the mastermind who edits reality. The Operator hacks doors, spawns platforms, and overrides physics to propel the Runner across the finish line. Their toolkit centers on environment control, tactical hacking, and a set of minigames that test timing and planning.

Core mechanics

The core loop blends fast, margin-for-error platforming with deliberate, split-second hacks. The Runner navigates tight corridors, jumps between nodes, and leverages air momentum to outpace security measures. The Operator manipulates the environment in real time—deploying platforms, repositioning dangers, and triggering scripted physics to create safe passage or opening new routes. Communication and anticipation are essential, as each action by one player reshapes the possibilities for the other.

Objective and pacing

The mission is to infiltrate a collapsing blockchain and breach the firewall of a crypto wallet while assets are pulled into the void. The clock is the only currency. Time spent in preparation sectors directly reduces the final extraction window, so players must optimize their route and actions. Speedruns through security layers preserve more connection time, while maximizing the remaining duration in the extraction phase drains the wallet faster. Escape before the system collapses to secure the payout.
