Dying for Parts description
Dying for Parts
Fight. Scavenge. Evolve. You awaken as discarded tech inside the Junkyard, an brutal, illegal robot fighting ring. Your sole aim is to survive endless waves of scavenger mutant machines that hunt you for parts.
Dying for Parts is a high-skill vertical movement shooter where every maneuver mutates your weapon. Master fluid movement and limitless combos to wield a massive arsenal of upgrades and dominate the arena.
Momentum is firepower. Your shooting is tied to your physical state. Sliding, falling, and wall-running continuously alter weapon behavior. Chain unlimited movements to stack speed buffs and keep a Flow State that lets you outrun the enemy’s tracking and tear through crowds.
Roguelite loop. Between waves you scavenge unstable upgrades from fallen rivals to patch your chassis and enhance systems. Install temporary hacks and modified parts gathered from scrap. Hundreds of passive and active upgrades create unique builds each run. If a choice doesn’t fit, dig deeper for better components.
Death is a data reset. Use accumulated scrap to unlock permanent skill trees, reveal new chassis modifications, and access deeper layers of the Junkyard’s history. Progress persists beyond each run, shaping future survivals.
Adapt or be scrapped. The Junkyard is alive with specialized mutant machines designed to counter strategies. Face aerial drones that force you to ground, heavy bruisers that require vertical flanking, and swarms that punish stationary play. You can’t rely on a single approach—read the field, adapt your movement, and exploit weaknesses before the swarm overwhelms you.
The Junkyard arena. A vertical hellscape built from the ruins of the old world. Fight across towering stacks of metal, cars, and electronic parts. Grapple to the highest tower for a sniper’s vantage, or slide through claustrophobic trash compactors to weave away from the onslaught. The map is a weapon as much as a stage—shape it to your advantage.
Welcome to the arena. Try not to rust.
