BeeTD is a difficult tower defense game that drops you into a buzzing battlefield where waves of wasps threaten your hive. Powerful, varied rosters. There are several powers to choose from, and each one reshapes your army by bringing its own unique set of insects. Pick a core ability and then manage a roster that suits that style—melee swarms, ranged harass, or tricky debuffs. The different playstyles invite experimentation and replayability, letting you tailor your approach to the layout of each map and the tactics of each nest of wasps.

Wind as a strategic force. An annoying wind blows across the battlefield, pushing your insects away and complicating line formation. You must anticipate gusts, position defenders at choke points, and use your powers to compensate for shifting air. The wind isn’t just a nuisance—it adds a crucial layer of timing and placement to every encounter.

Progression through challenges. Each power comes with its own challenge to unlock new insects to use. By completing these tasks, you expand your options and unlock fresh combinations for future runs, keeping the strategic loop progressing and varied.

Bosses, item wasps, and choice rewards. After you beat a boss or encounter an item wasp, you get to pick one of three items. Some items prove more useful than others, and your choice can tilt the odds in upcoming battles. Those decisions encourage careful risk-versus-reward thinking as you push deeper into the hive.

Energy management and power bursts. You gain energy over time and spend it to activate special powers for your bugs. Since energy refills slowly, you must plan when and which bugs to empower, coordinating bursts with wind shifts, boss patterns, and available defenses. Wise spending and precise activation are key to surviving the toughest waves.
