Eschaton: Battle For Eternity is a fast-paced, top-down arcade sci-fi shooter designed for quick, intense runs and that classic “one more try” feeling. Blast through vivid space battles, rack up weapon upgrades, and face multiple boss encounters as the action ramps up across five compact levels.

Key features focus on high-speed scoring, escalating waves, and precise controls that reward flawless execution. A built-in speedrun timer tracks your runs, with an end-of-run breakdown showing score and accuracy to help you route patterns, optimize routes, and chase personal bests.

Upgrade and survive through weapon systems that unlock and evolve as you play. Face increasingly difficult enemy waves and a sequence of challenging bosses, each demanding new strategies and quick reflexes.

Everything in Eschaton was created by a solo developer: 3D and 2D assets, animations, sound effects, music, and code. The project began as a Fall 2018 student demo and returned in 2025 as a more complete game, adding upgrades, more ships, expanded scoring, a health UI, and a refined balance. It remains a compact, highly replayable experience designed for quick, challenging sessions, with plans for additional levels, music, and potential narrative elements in future updates.
