Prime Protocol is a high-stakes extraction platformer built around commitment, consequence, and choice. There are no safety nets, no permanent upgrades, and no progress without extraction. Each run is a tense negotiation between greed and survival, where your decisions echo through every action you take.

Core Loop

• Enter a procedurally generated run
• Discover and carry physical Artifacts
• Push deeper to increase potential value
• Choose when to extract
• Die — and lose everything you didn’t secure
• Extraction is voluntary. Death is final. Only extracted assets persist.

Artifacts

Artifacts are physical objects, not power-ups. They are carried during a run, droppable, swappable, and losable. If you die, they’ re lost permanently unless you bank them through a successful extraction. Artifacts change how the game feels—not through raw stats. There is no power creep, no hidden scaling, and no forgiveness.

Instability System

Carrying more than you can control destabilizes the environment. Instability alters platform behavior, hazard timing, visual and spatial clarity, and environmental reliability. The exit remains stable, but everything else reacts to your choices in real time.

What makes it different

Prime Protocol is not tuned for comfort. It respects player intelligence, rewards restraint over grinding, and makes loss meaningful. Success is earned, not accumulated, and there is no meta progression that shields you from mistakes. The system remembers nothing unless you choose to remember it.

More than a game

This is the first public deployment of a broader framework exploring trust, persistence, and voluntary commitment across systems. The Steam build is your entry point, but the protocol extends beyond the game. Prime Operator, the orchestration layer behind the protocol, coordinates governed system surfaces.
