D1AL-ogue description
D1AL-ogue
D1AL-ogue invites you to manage a quiet repair clinic in Chroma City, a cyberpunk metropolis where the sun never rises and Neon-Shine paints the rain-soaked streets. As Polar Night Day—the longest night of the year—draws near, the city glitters with festive lights and creeping shadows. Androids, known as Electronic Vital Entities, step out of the dark into your workshop, seeking more than a quick tune-up; they crave repairs that reaffirm their ordinary lives. Your tool is the old-school diagnostic console named D1AL, and your workspace sits tucked away in a corner of the bustling shopping district. Turn the dial, match the parts, and listen to their stories as you coax each core back to harmony.
Gameplay centers on a circular puzzle that defines every repair. You rotate and manipulate a circular grid that visualizes the android’s internal core, then rotate and merge modules: three of the same kind in a row become a higher-tier unit. The action unfolds under a strict battery limit, so every move must be deliberate and efficient. Precision matters: replace units with care to avoid spreading electronic narcotics or triggering overloaded modules that threaten to explode. Strategic timing matters as you decide which parts to upgrade and when to push a repair forward, balancing speed, power, and stability.
Beyond the cores, each EVA carries a backstory and a daily routine that feel almost human in a neon-lit, retro-futuristic world. The stories you hear shift with your repairs; a small decision in how you patch a limb or stabilize a drive can alter memory fragments, conversations, and the way a patient thanks you at the end. The workshop becomes a portal to intimate, small-scale narratives in a city where the ordinary is strange and the extraordinary is routine.
Aesthetic and atmosphere fuse pixel art with Neon Noir. The visuals blend 98-era PC charm with glossy cyberpunk edges, producing a retro look that still breathes with life under rain-soaked streets. Every asset is hand-crafted or licensed, designed to evoke a tactile, late-20th-century feel while delivering a modern, thoughtful puzzle experience.
All data collection is limited to gameplay information for improvement purposes, and the game emphasizes a hands-on, patient approach to repair. Turn the D1AL and connect with the androids awaiting a proper fix, a story, and a second chance at daily life.
