In Toxic Trains, cargo trains face a higher chance of spills when you squeeze tracks through tight turns, and a dead end or a collision instantly ends your run. The game blends ideas from Mini Motorways and Train Valley with its own distinctive twist, challenging you to adapt as routes and maps change with every play.

Draw tracks to route trains to changing destinations in each game session. Passenger services and cargo shipments compete for space on a growing network, so careful planning and clever use of space are essential. The challenge increases as you weave through scenarios that reward smooth, longer routes and punishing penalties for reckless maneuvering.

Spills are a constant hazard for cargo trains. While they carry a base spill probability, routes that feature several close turns dramatically raise the risk. Keep traffic under control to avoid costly disruptions and a game over caused by cascading incidents.

Repair and cleanup are part of the strategy. Use one fire truck per level to clean up spills and restore order after a disruption. The cleanup mechanic adds a tactical layer to timing and resource management, making every level feel like a careful balance between speed and safety.
