NARNOK description
NARNOK
Enter a roguelike conquest across hostile universes by assembling a crew of bizarre aliens, artifacts, and homelands. Each unit brings a unique ability and works with factional synergies to bend battles in your favor. The core loop blends deckbuilding, crew management, and strategic exploration, ensuring no two runs are the same.
Navigate a node-based map where planets and shops form a branching path. Choose where to push your advantage, which allies to recruit, and which artifacts to seize. Every stop reshapes your roster, your resources, and the options open to you in future encounters.
Combat hinges on assembled teams and crafted itemization. You can battle planet inhabitants to acquire rare aliens, or destroy planets to gain rapid resources. Items reflect different alien factions, creating distinct synergies that can turn the tide in tight fights. Mastering these combinations is essential to surviving the roguelike onslaught across ever-changing universes.
In addition to exploring and raiding, you can face universe owners directly in battles against real player builds. When you clash in Battle, your goal is to collect more NAR and NOK than your opponent before the neutral NARNOK pool runs dry, testing your tactical precision and timing against human creativity.
Progression unfolds along a tier ladder from 1 to 7. Win battles to climb, lose to drop, and reach tier 7 to seal victory. The ladder rewards strategic planning, resource management, and ruthless execution across increasingly challenging encounters. A single misstep at the top can set you back, so constant adaptation is key.
Card collection is a core ongoing reward. As you play, you’ll gather a diverse set of cards that encode your aliens, artifacts, and plunder. There’s a small chance—0.5% for any card—that it drops as a shiny variant, offering cosmetic distinction and bragging rights among rivals.
Personalize your presence with profile and avatar customization. Your opponents can view your profile during raids, adding a social layer to the competition and letting your identity shine as you battle through the multiverse.
