Eclipstation description
Eclipstation
You awaken aboard a space station that has lost contact with the outside world. The crew vanished, automated systems behave erratically, and many sectors are sealed off. The station still runs, but its rules grow increasingly unpredictable as an unknown breach spreads through the hull.
Horror and atmosphere permeate the silent corridors. Silence presses in, familiar spaces feel distorted, and rare sounds force you to pause and listen. Danger often hides in the unseen, and the constant tension follows you wherever you go.
Exploration and Movement
Move freely through expansive station levels, explore rooms, and navigate the connections between sectors. Wander, encounter threats, and flee when necessary while uncovering new routes. Lighting shapes orientation—in darkness, judging distance and spotting movement becomes significantly harder.
Enemies and Tension
The station is home to a diverse array of creatures. Some burst into view without warning; others linger, compelling quick changes of plan and pace. Danger rarely announces itself directly, and a single poor decision can escalate tension and trigger unpredictable consequences.
Crafting and Items
Craft items by pairing two components. Outcomes depend on the chosen combination and are not always obvious in advance. Some tools help you confront threats or manipulate the environment, while others carry side effects or harm. Crafting is confined to specific areas, making careful resource management essential.
Effects and States
The environment and its inhabitants influence your condition. Temporary effects can distort controls, visuals, or spatial perception, and not all effects clear quickly. You must keep moving, adapt to altered conditions, and make decisive choices under pressure.
Narrative Arc
As you delve deeper, you piece together what happened on the station. Each new sector draws you closer to the truth, while simultaneously raising the risk. The space grows more dangerous, the margin for error shrinks, and the station begins to operate by its own increasingly distorted rules.
