Horizons Scavenger description

Horizons Scavenger

Horizons Scavenger is a story-driven sci-fi adventure built around exploration, atmosphere, and problem solving. You play as Anne, a privateer sent to retrieve stolen technology from a rogue android. When you and your AI companion arrive at Hope’s End, a functioning off-world colony designed to host over a thousand residents, the station is completely deserted. The mystery of what happened drives every step you take.

Gameplay and Perspective

Move and traverse in third person to maintain spatial awareness, then switch to precise first-person to engage in fast gun combat when danger appears. The game is crafted for flow and immersion, blending exploration with decisive, action-oriented moments.

Puzzles and Hacking

Tackle physics-based logic puzzles that use environmental elements, weight, force, energy routing, and physical interaction. Solve layered challenges that reward observation and thoughtful experimentation. Along the way, hack corrupted systems by accessing terminals, surveillance networks, and security layers to uncover clues, open paths, and piece together what really happened to the colonists.

Combat and Encounters

Expect fast gun-based confrontations against hostile machines and automated defenses. Encounters are quick, direct, and reactive, emphasizing timing, positioning, and situational awareness.

Mystery, Atmosphere, and Tone

Piece together the fate of the missing settlers and track the rogue android’s motives—he may hold the truth you seek. The game offers a grounded, slightly eerie sci-fi atmosphere, reinforced by environmental storytelling, quiet tension, and careful use of sound to immerse you in Hope’s End.
