Padoria is a roguelike deck-building game where poker hand mechanics meet tactical, turn-based combat. Build your strategy around dual-faced cards and two evolving hands each turn, then sharpen your power with equipment and jokers. Clear battles to expand your deck, unlock higher card numbers, and forge a uniquely powerful build that fits your chosen playstyle.

In combat, you form two hands simultaneously: a top hand for offense and a bottom hand for defense. Each card has a distinct top and bottom face, so every turn you decide how to shape your attack and how to block incoming damage. The tension between strengthening your top hand and flipping cards to adapt creates a puzzle-like rhythm—the right flip at the right moment can swing a fight. Jokers and equipment shift this balance, expanding your options and letting you tailor your approach to the current encounter.

As you progress, your deck grows stronger through two interconnected levers: card power and card variety. After each battle you gain access to higher-numbered cards and may remove less useful ones to prune your deck. Token-enhanced cards introduce fresh effects that influence how you approach each skirmish. The goal is to adjust the density and direction of your deck so that every turn feels like a meaningful choice that edges you toward the perfect combo for the moment.

Padoria's campaign follows a looping stage flow of battles and towns. You test your deck in combat, then return to town to upgrade equipment or recruit more jokers, preparing for tougher foes ahead. Enemies scale in strength as you advance, and each region culminates in a boss battle that imposes a special penalty rule. Learning to adapt your build to these penalties is essential to victory. Defeat all four bosses to finish the main campaign, after which you unlock an endlessly scaling Infinite Mode for continuous challenge.
