Quarantine

The end is near. Your checkpoint stands between civilization and collapse. Quarantine is a real-time multiplayer checkpoint survival game for 2–6 players where you inspect survivors, manage limited resources, and defend a fragile quarantine zone.

Every player occupies a unique station with real responsibilities: medical scans, paperwork, security, supply control, and communications. Information arrives in fragments, and no one has the full picture. Decisions must be made quickly, under pressure, with only partial trust in the people beside you.

This is multiplayer by design. It isn’t a solo experience with a few co-op features tacked on. The challenge comes from coordination, negotiation, and the consequences of every choice. Roles shape what you can do, but also what you must rely on others to handle.

Survivors arrive with documents, injuries, hidden traits, and secrets. Your team conducts medical checks, verifies identities, and peels back stories to detect infection, smuggling, or sabotage. You must decide who enters, who waits, and who never leaves the line. Admit the wrong person and the infection spreads; turn people away and your own crew may revolt.

Resources are shared and scarce: food, power, medicine, ammo, and morale must be allocated across the team. Shortages fuel tension and prompt tough calls. Some players can override decisions; others secretly hoard, misreport, or sabotage. Trust is dangerous, but necessary for survival.

Outside the checkpoint, emergencies push you to the edge: horde attacks, internal riots, blackouts, and equipment failures. Each incident forces snap judgments with lasting consequences, testing loyalties and revealing the cracks in your group. Moral dilemmas emerge as you weigh the needs of the many against the risks of letting danger inside.

Play it your way. The game embraces fully cooperative play, soft role-play, and emergent stories that unfold session to session. Optional hidden objectives and traitor mechanics add tension for groups who want a higher-stakes challenge. In Quarantine, trust is optional, but the consequences are not.

Gameplay unfolds in continuous loops. At the start of each shift, survivors arrive with documents and injuries, and you begin a rapid set of checks. Your station updates the team’s picture in real time: doctors tally symptoms at medical scans, clerks sift papers for inconsistencies, guards monitor gates, logisticians track stock, and comms officers broadcast alerts. Each action consumes scarce resources and valuable time, and a single misstep can cascade into broader trouble. As the clock ticks, the group must adapt to shifting information, new clues, and the evolving threat from outside.

The question isn’t simply who gets in. It’s who you can still trust when it all falls apart.
